We asked Dr. Weber to share more about herself:
Why are you excited to join CTVS?
I am excited to be part of such a large, collaborative group that is on the cutting edge of the field of cardiothoracic surgery and strives to provide high quality care and evidence based medicine to patients throughout Central Texas.
Why are you passionate about what you do?
I am driven by a deep sense of purpose and dedication to my patients, which fuels my passion for what I do on a daily basis. Cardiac surgery has the ability to have a profound impact on patients’ quality of life and survival, both short and long term. Having the opportunity to help patients in this way and witness their recovery is incredibly fulfilling and deeply satisfying.
What is your care philosophy?
My care philosophy centers around a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care through a combination of technical expertise, compassionate patient interaction, and comprehensive, patient-centered practices. I aim to balance thorough, evidence based practice with a compassionate, holistic approach to patient care, ensuring that each patient receives personalized, high-quality treatment throughout their surgical journey.
What do you enjoy outside of the clinical setting?
When not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog. We love being outdoors, particularly by the lake or ocean. I am also an avid runner and have run several marathons and half marathons.
Dr. Weber is now seeing patients at our Central Austin location.
