Dear Patient,

After many years of practicing vascular surgery, I want to share with you that I will be retiring from Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons on September 30, 2025. It has been an honor and a privilege to care for you and to be part of your health journey.

Caring for patients has been the most rewarding aspect of my career, and I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me. While I am stepping away from active practice, your care will remain a priority. Our office is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and continued support for your ongoing medical needs.

As my patient, you can continue to receive excellent care from one of my colleagues at CTVS. For more information about my vascular partners, please visit www.ctvstexas.com.

If you have any questions, my office staff can help guide you and assist in scheduling your follow‐up care.

Your medical records are confidential and will remain with CTVS should you choose to see one of my colleagues. If you wish to transfer your records to a physician outside of CTVS, please call our office at 512‐459‐8753. A copy can be transferred to another physician, or released to you or another person you designate, only through your permission. My office staff will be available to help with any clinical questions or administrative matters going forward.

It has been an honor and pleasure to work at CTVS and to serve as your physician. Nothing could have been more challenging and gratifying for me. I wish you the best that life has to offer.

Sincerely,

Stephen Settle, M.D.
