Scott A. Seidel, M.D., F.A.C.S., R.V.T., is a native Texan who was born in Houston. After graduating from Texas A&M University, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, his vascular surgery fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center and his endovascular fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center in 2001. Dr. Seidel has practiced with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons since 2006.

Dr. Seidel is board-certified in general and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a Registered Vascular Technologist. His professional interests include all areas of vascular and endovascular surgery with a special interest in catheter-based minimally invasive interventions.

He is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society, Society for Vascular Ultrasound, Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, Texas Medical Association and Travis County Medical Society. Dr. Seidel has authored numerous articles in the field of general and vascular surgery.
