Mazin I. Foteh, M.D., F.A.C.S. is originally from Houston, Texas and received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Dr. Foteh completed his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. During this time, he received numerous academic and teaching awards. He has practiced with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons since 2012.
Dr. Foteh is board-certified in general and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery and specializes in all areas of endovascular and vascular surgery as well as limb salvage. Additionally he is the primary investigator on numerous clinical trials focusing on thoracic aortic aneurysm/dissection, abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid disease, and critical limb ischemia.
He is an active member of the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, Society for Vascular Surgery, and International Society of Endovascular Specialists. In addition, Dr. Foteh actively presents at both national and international vascular meetings. Dr. Foteh has been named by his peers to the Super Doctors ® Rising Stars 2013, 2014, and 2015 list and most recently listed as a Texas Super Doctor® 2016 – 2019, and Top Doctor 2020.
